Easter weekend was such a nice break, but oh so busy all at once. Friday I had a fashion photo shoot for Privilege Clothing Boutique. We had been discussing and planning the shoot for a looong time, I can’t believe it’s finally all done! It was an amazing experience and I am so excited about the photos. Between the spring clothes, our gorgeous model Kelsey, my new camera, and all of the preparations everything just came together for some awesome shots! I will be sharing them on the blog just as soon as I can finish up the editing. The morning was clear and sunny (and almost warm), but by the mid afternoon grey clouds moved in and we spent over an hour huddled under the picnic cover waiting for the rain to pass. Poor Kelsey was absolutely freezing while the rest of us were all bundled up… we offered her our jackets for short intervals. She was quite the trooper (I didn’t hear her complain once). Here are a couple behind the scenes photos, and a sneak peek at the finished product! This was definitely my favourite photo shoot to date.
Saturday I collaborated with Erin at Kork and Carly at Blooming Aisle Floral Design for a bride and groom photo shoot which was so much fun! The bride was an old friend, Alex from high school. I love it when I get the chance to reconnect with people through my photography. Alex and Davin are the nicest couple ever! Carly did a great job of the bouquet and boutonniere. Here’s a little preview! :)
And finally, on Sunday morning I went to church with my parents and sister (and Adrian), and then out for yummy brunch at Horizons on Burnaby Mountain. I highly recommend it, the park and view is beautiful, and the seafood crepes were delish. The Easter bunny didn’t forget about us… my mom said he dropped by with a polka dot bag of treats for me. I guess I missed a ‘change of address’ form somewhere along the way…
Hope you all had a fantastic long weekend! Can’t wait to share more photos with you! :)
