A few weeks ago I had the privilege of assisting Perfect Moments Photography by Anita Chapman with a wedding. My favourite thing about Anita is her endless energy. From the very second she walks in the door she is bursting with smiles and enthusiasm. We first met last year when she photographed my sister’s wedding. It was great to see her again and be a part of Kim and Troy’s sunny White Rock wedding.
I spent the morning helping with photos of the groomsmen. I must say these guys did a great job of getting themselves ready. Troy, an admitted perfectionist, even pulled out the iron to make sure his tie was absolutely perfect. Kim and Troy, and the rest of their wedding party, were great people and I had a great time spending the day with them!
This wedding was also the first time I had the chance to use my new camera. I recently upgraded to a Nikon D700, which uses a full frame sensor. The difference is incredible… for those of you who don’t know, a ‘full frame’ sensor basically means the camera takes bigger, sharper photos with softer backgrounds and better colours (ohhh yeah!).
Here’s a couple of my favourites! Hope you like them! :)
