My shopping in Seattle last weekend was a huge success. I started a list of things I was on the lookout for, and went on the trip with great intentions of buying only a few of them. I figured I would leave the excessive shopping to my friends, but I found so many things I just couldn’t turn down… sometimes you just have to go shopping crazy and take advantage of the selection and prices in the USA.

Lets start with the list of things I decided I needed before we left: Nude Pumps, Bathing Suit, New Shirt or Dress, Maybe a Maxi Skirt, Some New Accessories.

Here’s how I did…….

-Pair of 7 for All Mankind jeans – These were a bit unplanned. BUT, they were on sale and I don’t have any lighter wash jeans. A girl at my work has a pair just like these and they look so cute with a white top and spring scarf… once I get them hemmed they will be perfect!

-Pink Sugar perfume – I’ve been looking for a perfume that doesn’t give me a terrible headache for a while now. Pink Sugar seems to be working for me. No headaches yet!

-Eyeshadow primer and a purple eyeshadow – This was kind of a splurge as well.  I don’t really need purple eye shadow, but it’s fun. As for the primer… if you’ve ever used a primer you’ll know it does work wonders. Eyeshadow doesn’t move one bit.. I think it will be well worth it on those long work days when I don’t have the time to re apply.

-Maxi skirt – My first long skirt (since Grade 5). It might be my favourite purchase… Grey and white stripes… so happy I found one that I can pull off!

-Basic tee’s and tanks – Can’t go wrong with basics. These will go with my skirt and my new jeans.

– Plain black bikini – Simple is key.. we all know I love my plain black, and I’m thinking I might jazz it up with some kind of sparkly pendant or something, $10!

-New pink shirt – Just to add a splash of spring colour to the wardrobe!

-Lots of accessories – All silver of course, I never wear gold jewelry. I’m excited to purge some old ones to make room for the new!

-Nude Pumps – I found a great pair and the Nine West outlet store. Not too high, good colour, so far pretty comfortable, yay!

Overall, I think I did awesome and (kind of) stuck to my shopping list! Here’s a few photos from the trip… (did I forget to mention it snowed!?) Enjoy!
