Alright ladies! Spring made it’s official entrance last week, and it’s time to dive into the corresponding fashion trends. The Vancouver weather is warmer (eerrr, more rainy?) and your winter outfits are no longer passable – it’s time to shop. Let’s chat about two trends you can start wearing TODAY.

Faded and Distressed Denim – It’s the end of an era really…. leggings have had a really good, long run, but denim is finally making a real comeback. This season it’s all about the baggy, distressed denim. Faded and torn, boyfriend or skinny cut, find the ones with some (tasteful) holes. Or, if you’re the DIY type, get out the sandpaper.

Pastels – It seems like a running theme that, every year around Easter, pastels come into fashion for a short run, before the they trampled by summer neon. In any case, pick up a pastel piece or two (or even just a scarf) to help your wardrobe enter into spring. Pinks, lilacs, and cremes seem to be particularly popular this season.
